Catholics
on Call
Catholics on Call assists young adults (ages 18-30) to reflect
on God's call in their lives. Catholics on Call reaches out
to men and women who may be considering the possibility of
a life of service in the Church as a lay minister, religious
sister or brother, or priest. Through their website and summer
programs, Catholics on Call can help you learn more about
the opportunities of service in the Church and about listening
to God's call in your life.
Ignatian
Spirituality
Inigo began developing the Spiritual Exercises long before
he went to the University of Paris, before he began to call
himself "Ignatius" and before the Church named him
Saint Ignatius. He developed this method of prayer by reflecting
on his own experience of God and by speaking with anyone else
he could find. From these conversations came the carefully
worked-out way of trying to discover what God asks of an individual.
Liturgy
of the Hours
The official prayer of the Roman Catholic Church is known
variously as Liturgy of the Hours and the Divine Office. The
prayer contains psalms, readings and intercessions. It is
