Kairos Retreat - September 12-15, 2014
This September 12-15, 2014, the Sheil Catholic Center will be hosting its third Kairos retreat. Kairos is a four-day retreat that has a theme for each day: Doubt the First, Cry the Second, Trust the Third, and Live the Fourth. Through small-group sessions, witness talks by upperclassmen leaders, and many other surprises. Kairos is a magical experience that brings people closer to themselves, to others, and to God. Kairos builds friendships that last a lifetime, and the days before Wildcat Welcome are the perfect time to build new, close friendships and enter Northwestern with a renewed sense of identity and purpose in life. Come on Kairos and learn from other freshmen and upperclassmen about yourself and what it truly means to be a Northwestern student! The retreat is held at Cabrini Retreat Center in Des Plaines, IL. The retreat is open to any incoming or current undergraduate student at Northwestern.
The cost is $225 if you apply by June 15th, $250 if you apply by August 15th.
Our most popular retreat experience, the Busy Student Retreat provides an opportunity for students to go on retreat without ever leaving campus. This week-long retreat during Spring Quarter is a chance for students to find time for God and focus on their personal relationship with Christ.
For one week, students commit to a half-hour of prayer and a half-hour meeting with a Spiritual Companion each day, and can also attend evening reflections.
