We are a group of students who come together to share our faith, our ideas, and our lives as Catholics at Northwestern. Every week we have informal gatherings at the Sheil Center. We don't have any standard format - meetings have ranged from discussions about religion in the media to quiet reflection and guided meditation. We are connected by both a desire to keep our faith an important part of our lives, and to relax and have a good time on "the other side of Sheridan Road." Everyone is welcome to come - we look forward to seeing you soon!

All events are held on Wednesday evenings at 8:30 p.m. in the Lower Level Lounge at Sheil, unless otherwise indicated.

April 2: Social Night
Come join us for some fun games to reconnect with old friends or meet some new ones!

April 9: Stump the Staff
Everything you ever wanted to know about Catholicism but were too afraid to ask! Well, close enough.....join the Sheil staff with your puzzling questions and see if there is one they can't answer!

April 16: Immigration
No matter what you think about immigration policies, join us for a fascinating discussion of one of the "hottest" issues in our society.

April 23: Apologetics
What, exactly, are we apologizing for? Join us for a look at how we can learn to share what it means to be Catholic with our non-Catholic friends.

April 30: Friendships in a Fast Paced World - Revisited
Always seem to have trouble making time to be with friends? Come join us for a discussion on how to be a good friend in a "facebook world."

May 7: Human Continuum
Come for an exciting discussion of the 'human continuum' and discover something new about yourself and your fellow Catholic undergrads!

May 14: (Teaching) Mass
Ever wish you had a pause button during Mass so you could understand why Catholics do things a certain way? Well, now you do! Join us for Mass with a twist, to learn the ins and outs of this thing called "catholic tradition" as it applies to the Mass.

May 21: 20th Century Catholic Writers
Did you know that some of the most influential writers of the 20th Century were Catholic? Come and hear their stories

May 28: Quarterly Planning Meeting
Didn't see a night that you would like? Have ideas for a future CU? Want to make a difference to CU? This night we will be planning for Fall Quarter 2008, so bring your ideas!

June 4: Bonfire/Senior's Night
That's right- a bonfire! Need we say more?
